Undergraduate Admissions: Admission Requirements

New Students	If you are a student applying directly from high school, or with fewer than 14 college credits since high school graduation.

Transfer Students	If you are a student with 14 or more transferrable college credits since high school.

International Students	If you are a student who is not a citizen or permanent resident of the United States.

NIC Joint Admission Students	If you are a current or prospective NIC student and wish to apply as a joint admission student.

Non-degree Students	If you are a student who is not seeking a formal UI degree. Limitations on credit loads and financial aid eligibility apply.

High School Students	If you are a current high school student or have not yet obtained your GED and you wish to take a UI class.

Returning Students	If you are a former UI student returning after more than 2 years from last attendence.

Law School	Apply to the College of Law

Graduate School	Apply to Graduate School

If you do not meet the published criteria for admission at the time of review, you may apply to the Admissions Committee for consideration.
